Guile
starring michael k. williams
The project that started it all... After months of working a dead end job, co-workers Johntrae Williams and Jeff Wise decided to put their heads and talents together to bring to life the intriguing suspense thriller, "Guile". With no budget and no real equipment the two knew that it would be a long shot and uphill battle, but figured they had nothing to loose. It would not be long until they had the endorsement of Michael K. Williams of HBO's hit series, "The Wire" and "Boardwalk Empire". Johntrae and Jeff would turn to the methods of both Film Noir and Gorilla filmmaking, embracing the concept of utilizing whatever you have to work with to create a visually captivating work of art. The duo would also heavily embody the works of Alfred Hitchcock, which would result in a gritty, black and white, thought provoking end product.
